Stephane Damezin
General Manager
Stéphane began his broad career in Scotland, having moved from his native France at a young age to take a role at the Turnberry Hotel, Turnberry. After a few years as General Restaurant Manager at The Honours Brasserie by Martin Wishart in Edinburgh, Stéphane joined the Roux at Skindles team, bringing with him a wealth of experience in restaurant and front of house management. More than just a career, hospitality is Stéphane’s passion. A skilled professional, Stéphane combines a love of food and wine with complete customer focus. His friendly manner, enthusiasm and attention to detail are appreciated as much by our customers as his colleagues that work alongside.

Alain Roux
Chef Patron
Alain opened Roux at Skindles with his late Father, Michel Roux O.B.E. in November 2018.
He began his career with an apprenticeship in pastry. The next seven years were spent training in some of France’s most notable kitchens including Restaurant Pic in Valence and La Côte St Jacques in Joigny. In 1992, Alain joined his father’s Waterside Inn and having worked through the ranks, took over from his father to become Chef Patron in 2002.
